Charlie Ralph is a London-based guitarist, performer, and educator hailing from Cornwall, UK.
Having played guitar since the age of 10, Charlie has gained a sound and level of experience beyond his years. Since moving to London in 2021 to pursue a career in music, Charlie has enjoyed a plethora of exciting opportunities, from studying on the Jazz course at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and working with names such as Marc Almond of ‘Soft Cell’ fame and Jazz singer Elaine Delmar, to most recently playing live with the Guildhall Studio ensemble alongside ‘Snarky Puppy’ member Bill Laurance. He recently began playing for Indie act ‘Frances Willow’, and pop singer and winner of ‘The Voice of Azerbaijan’ Emiliya Yaqubova.
Charlie also has various personal projects, including the Charlie Ralph Trio, his Jazz group with whom he regularly gigs across London, having played at venues including Wiltons Music Hall and The Stapleton tavern, where he held a weekly residency. He is also a part of ‘The Shoestring Factory’, a three pieces act blending the sounds of film soundtracks with latin infused Surf-Rock sounds. Their debut performance was in January 2025.
Stylistically, Charlie specialises in Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk and Pop.
